Do I need a thinner or flow agent with KixKote paints?

No flow additives are required — KixKote paints are already engineered for smooth coverage. If thinning is ever needed, clean water works perfectly.

What does the KixKote Adhesion Promoter do?

Adhesion Promoter is applied after prepping and before your first coat of paint. It helps paint grip onto tough synthetics like vinyl and plastics, maximizing adhesion and preventing peeling.

How is the Sticky Icky used?

Sticky Icky is a binder added at a ratio of 3–5% into KixKote paints, Adhesion Promoter, or even Finishers. It boosts adhesion, wear resistance, and makes coatings highly resistant to cleaners and chemicals. For extreme durability, we recommend using Sticky Icky throughout your system — in prep, paint, and finishing layers.

What about Soft Feel and Thickener additives?

Soft Feel is mixed at 3–5% into paints or finishers to keep coatings flexible with a smooth hand-feel. Thickener increases viscosity for better brush control and detailed work. Both let you fine-tune performance for custom results.
